Hickory Hill Quilts has been a long time in the planning stages.  I can remember my oldest daughter Angel talking about quilting and retreats that she went to in her home in Montana and how much fun it sounded like she was having.  You see, we came from a sewing family, but this quilting was something different.

After several years planning trips around where quilt shops could be visited, my husband and I started dreaming about opening a “premium quality” quilt shop close to home.  It has been a long time in the planning stages, but finally it is a reality.  We have tried to make sure and include something for everyone—the quilter who wants that special fabric she has seen in the top publications, the sewer that wants a sewing machine that quite possibly will be the best sewing investment she will make, or the quilter or sewer who wants to meet their friends to sew on a Tuesday evening.
