Learn Your Sewing Machine

This class is designed to provide basic sewing machine operation and maintenance.  If you have a machine that you haven't used in a long time, or is "new to you" (inherited, purchased 2nd hand, or purchased from a source that provides no lessons), the this class may be exactly what you need.  We will help you with how to thread your machine, change the needle, fill a bobbin, and show you how to clean and oil it, as well as discuss the basics of how a sewing machine functions.
Note:  This class is NOT an in-depth exploration of what your machine can or cannot do, nor will we address buttonholes, decorative stitches, or zipper insertion.  It is also not a course in sewing machine repair.  Your machine must be running properly for you to benefit from this class.
A manual for your machine will be very helpful.
