Anita Goodesign

Supplies for the quilt:
2 ¼ yards of neutral background fabric (white or beige)
Jelly Rolls or 2 ½ “ strips of fabric for block borders (your choice of color and style!)
Quilt Batting (you will need enough to line each block, and then another section for your finished quilt, so I would purchase at least a full size batting package)
Approximately 2 ½ yards of backing fabric
Miscellaneous fabric scraps for appliques
Best Press
Ultra Clean and Tear and Heavyweight stabilizer (for Bud’s Life)
Polymesh Stabilizer (for Nursery Rhymes)
Shape Flex fusible interfacing (I will bring enough to class to get you started in case you can’t find it right away).
Jumbo or Mega Hoop (your largest)
80/20 Embroidery Needle (sharp and ballpoint)
Bottom Line bobbin thread
Isacord thread of your choosing for Nursery Rhymes (I will provide thread numbers for Bud’s Life)

What to bring to class:
10” square of your background fabric
10” square of quilt batting
Stabilizer recommended above (enough for one hooping)
Jumbo or Mega Hoop
Best Press (or other spray starch)
Embroidery needles
Bobbin Thread (color doesn’t matter – I always use white)
USB stick for your design: If you’re comfortable with it, go ahead and upload your design on the stick. If not, I’ll do it for you before class
