Surgical Mask Request Followup
Wow, what a response to this request! I'm sew excited to be a part of such a wonderful, caring group of customers!
To answer some of your questions and concerns:
First, we are aware that these masks will not stop or prevent the virus. They are to be used when patients are non-symptomatic so that the precious masks are not used up.
Second, yes, we know they will have your germs. The hospital, and most medical facilities, have a means to sanitize their linens.
Third, yes, Hickory Hill has stabilizer and I ordered 4 more bolts this morning.
No, we don't have elastic, no one does - but I've ordered between 200 and 300 yards from two different vendors. Many warehouses are closed. Many shippers are closed. I'll keep you posted on receipt.
If YOU HAVE 1/4" OR 1/8" elastic and would donate it, please let the shop know. It can be dropped off or we will get someone to pick it up.
We have filled the 40% off bolts and sale room for cheaper fabric to be used.
