WANNA MAKE SOME SNEAKERS!?!

We are adding a new class on Sneaker Making.  We first saw the sneakers at BU - the owner of Bernina was wearing a pair!  We have been exploring the possibilities and several people have signed up and we have made an order for 48 pair of soles.  With this being "all the rage" right now, the soles are getting hard to get so the order spans two companies hoping to get a better selection in color and size.

Look how cute they are!  You can quilt any fabric with any theme you like...make them all one color or 3 different colors...fussy cut the toe...use a different color gromet for every shoelace eye.  You can even remake and redo the top if you decide they are too dirty!  When asked if they are comfortable - more like a Vann or Converse in comfort but though they come with insoles, you can put your own orthotic or insole inside!

There are 3 styles, they higher top, the regular rise and them more like a clog.  We will start with the higher top for our first class and see how it goes.  Once we get a collection of shoes in, we will call the people signed up for those sizes and set a class date!  Come sign up at Hickory Hill Quilts.
